Today, in class, you will be in the computer lab and you have 2 goals. 1) Set up your own weebly blog and 2) join Readtheory.org

For the first step, please go to weebly.com, create a profile, and create a website. At least one of your pages needs to be set on the "blog" setting, as we will be using that this semester.

Use the following link for help in setting up your blog.
http://help.education.weebly.com/build-your-first-site.html

After you create your blog, email me the URL of your blog at msanders2@wcpss.net. I will put a link to your blog on my website.

After you send me your URL, write a blog post discussing your analysis of the Brother's Grimm version of Cinderella. Answer the following questions:
  1. What are some of the major differences between the Disney and the Grimm versions?
  2. What do you think these differences reveal about the people and the time period in the Grimm story? What is the significance of those differences?
2) Go to readtheory.org and Using the username I give you, and the password "English2", sign on to the site. Then, choose 10 as your grade level and begin practicing. You will receive points for each assignment you do correctly.
