Today, I am going to a professional development in Cary, so you will have an assignment to complete in class. Once you are finished with that assignment, then you can work on your MWDSs and your partner essays. 1) Opening Poem: “Because I could not stop for Death” on page 752 an answer questions 1-5. 2) Read and answer the questions on the document "Othello Final Discussion Questions" 3) Complete your MWDSs for tonight 4) Work on your partner essays. Today's agenda:
1) Opening poem: Use the "Sound and Sense" book in class and read "Mirror" by Sylvia Plath. Then, answer the three questions listed. 2) Pass back papers and discuss the grading of the benchmark 3) Review the "Open Ended Prompt" power point (found in the Unit 3 folder) 4) Assign Partner essays--everyone should write an open ended essay about deception in Othello. See me for a physical copy of the prompt.
