Welcome to AP Literature! This is going to be a rigorous, enriching year and I am looking forward to getting to know you all!

Today's agenda:
1) Student Survey (see below)
2) Review Syllabus and course expectations
3) Formal email lesson and assignment
4) Analyze a painting
5) Read poems and analyze them, introduce TPCoSTS

Homework: Write a formal email to me FROM YOUR WAKE COUNTY EMAIL ADDRESS. In your email, address the following: 1st paragraph--tell me about yourself. Anything that you want me to know, anything that you are interested in. 2nd Paragraph--tell me what you are looking for in me as a teacher, or ask me questions either about the class, myself, etc. My goal is to respond to every email within the week, so asking questions will make that process easier.

Also, attach 2 things to your email:

1) a google document entitled (Lastname, Firstname) Poetry Responses
2) A selfie! I am trying to match names to faces, so this will help me do that more quickly!
