1) Daily Poem/Spotlight reading
* Every day, we will read a poem or do a short activity to start the class. All of the activities are listed in the packet that I gave out in class, or can be found on the resources page.
2) Introduce Poetry Response assignments and share a google document with me.
3) Discuss "Flight 063" and introduce TPCoSTS. Complete the handout together as a class
4) In small groups, work through a second poem and complete a TPCoSTS handout* We will finish this activity tomorrow
Coming up:
1) Read the Garden Party for tomorrow and come to class prepared to discuss story.
2) Read Where are you going, where have you been? for Wednesday
3) Read Hills Like White Elephants for Thursday.
